Days ago, a Memphis jury found Govan not guilty of first-degree murder and conspiracy charges in the 2021 killing of Young Dolph. Shortly after, he went viral after a tense exchange with blogger Ceddy Nash, who had covered the high-profile trial. He frequently had choice words for Govan and the other suspects in the case.

During a 13-minute conversation, Govan confronted Nash about his past reporting.

“I just don’t respect… you painting this narrative like I had something…like I was really in on that s**t,” he told the YouTuber. “And then you tried to flip it…on some emotional s**t. I just don’t respect that s**t.”

The discussion quickly escalated when Govan suggested Nash’s style of reporting could get him banned from Memphis.  Nash pushed back, warning Govan to watch his tone.

“First off, watch who you talking to… I’m one of them dudes you don’t come on the internet talking to me like that,” Nash said.

Unimpressed, Govan compared Nash to kids who get bullied in school.

“I look at you as like little kids in high school that used to get beat up, and now you got a voice since the internet has been invented,” he stated.

Before ending the conversation, Govan issued a chilling statement: “Whatever money you making on this YouTube, you need to put it on your life insurance f**king with me boy.”

While Govan walks free, others tied to Dolph’s death remain behind bars. Justin Johnson is serving life, Cornelius Smith awaits trial, and Jermarcus Johnson has pleaded guilty to accessory charges.

The tension between Govan and Nash leaves questions about what could happen next, with Govan promising to visit Los Angeles soon to confront him.
