Bethenny Frankel, Jenn Fessler and Dolores Catania have clashed after recent comments made by Bethenny trashing the Real Housewives of New Jersey
On Monday, March 24, news broke that Teresa Giudice and her husband, Louie Ruelas, have been hit with significant tax liens, totaling over $3 million. According to records obtained by People, Giudice owes $303,889.20, while Ruelas’ tax debt nears $2.6 million. In December 2024, Ruelas was also issued an additional lien for $163,523.94, which remains an open case.
Amid these revelations, reality TV star Bethenny Frankel took to her TikTok page to share her thoughts on Ruelas, offering a scathing critique of his public persona. Frankel made it clear that, in her view, Ruelas exudes “millionaire energy, not billionaire energy.”
She recounted, “In the beginning, I remember someone talking with me about Teresa and Louie and like that he was flying her places and he was showering her with everything. And there was something about that it was like too much. And then I said, but he’s on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. So he’s like a major bag alert but he’s on that trash bin of a show. Doesn’t make any sense. You only do that show if, like, you’re a broke ass trying to get somewhere. And then once you get there, you get off.”

Bethenny’s comments sparked backlash, especially from Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) cast member Jenn Fessler, who was clearly displeased by Frankel’s dismissal of the show. Fessler took to social media to express her frustration, addressing Bethenny’s remarks about RHONJ being a “trash bin” show.

“I was just scrolling, I heard that woman that makes the margaritas say that the Jersey housewives is a trash bin of a show and people only go on there if they are broke and once they get on, they get off and it pissed me off,” Fessler posted. “First off PS I wasn’t broke and I don’t think any of the women were broke that went on it. It afforded me opportunities, yes, and it was an incredible adventure but also I’m sorry that New York was so classy and New Jersey is so trashy. But honey, they aren’t that different. And from the first time you went on, you might have been broke but from what I remember the second time you made a lot of margaritas and went back on it. Give me a break. That woman is nasty!”
Not one to stay silent, Dolores Catania, another RHONJ star, joined the fray by sharing Fessler’s post and adding her own thoughts. “You’re 100% perfect right. Drink girl is so insufferable, always trying so hard she never shuts up ever,” Catania wrote.
The drama continues to unfold, with Bethenny’s comments igniting a feud between the former and current Housewives.
