BLUE IVY AND RUMI CARTER JOIN MOM BEYONCE ONSTAGE DURING COWBOY CARTER TOUR

Beyoncé officially kicked off her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour on Monday (April 28) at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and she brought two very special guests to the stage- her daughters Blue Ivy Carter and Rumi Carter.
Blue Ivy, who is now 13, returned to the stage during a performance of “America Has a Problem.” Standing front and center, she danced confidently as the crowd erupted with cheers. Beyoncé looked on proudly as her daughter took the spotlight.
Later in the show, Rumi Carter made a rare appearance during Beyoncé’s performance of “Protector,” marking the 7-year-old’s first time performing live with her mother.
The Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour, which features 32 stadium shows across North America and Europe, celebrates Beyoncé’s latest genre-defying album.
Before the tour officially began, audiences caught a glimpse of the new era during Beyoncé’s NFL halftime performance on Christmas Day. That show, quickly dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl,” also featured a guest appearance by Blue Ivy.
Blue’s live performance journey began in Paris on May 26, 2023, during the Renaissance World Tour. She joined the dancers for songs like “My Power” and “Black Parade.
Originally meant to be a one-off, her appearances quickly became a recurring part of the show.
“Blue is an artist,” Beyoncé told GQ last summer. “She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter, and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three. She’s a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself.”
Now a teenager, Blue Ivy has continued to build her own impressive résumé. She recently voiced Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, in Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King. After the movie’s premiere last December, Beyoncé celebrated her daughter’s achievement, writing on Instagram, “My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.”
Beyoncé has made it clear that family is at the center of her world. “My kids come with me everywhere I go,” she shared with GQ. “They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me.”
She also explained that her work schedule is built around her children’s school calendar “I always dreamt of a life where I could see the world with my family and expose them to different languages, architecture, and lifestyles.”
