Instead, this sleek “temperature-controlled market fridge” is a pilot project aimed at offering grab-and-go meals for hospital staff and visitors.

According to a Chick-fil-A spokesperson, “The company launched a test site of what they’re calling a ‘temperature-controlled market fridge’ at Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia, specifically designed for people who need something to eat quickly.”

What’s on the menu? A limited lineup including the Chick-fil-A cool wrap, the Southwest veggie wrap, and two flavors of waffle potato chips. No nuggets, no sandwiches, no sauces.

And for those wondering if Chick-fil-A’s long-standing Sunday closure rule still applies here, the answer is yes. The vending machine is available “24/6,” according to a spokesperson.

The fridge is stocked by employees from a nearby campus location, keeping it fresh for hospital visitors needing a quick bite.

While this isn’t the start of a vending machine takeover just yet, it’s a notable first step for the brand as it explores new ways to reach customers beyond the traditional restaurant setting.
