Connie Britton: Actress engaged to producer David Windsor
TV icon Connie Britton is officially engaged to her partner of six years, producer David Windsor.
People confirmed the news, after the couple was spotted at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on October 24 sharing a kiss, while Britton, 58, flashed a ring on her left hand.
The actress is a TV staple, appearing in shows such as Nashville, The White Lotus, Friday Night Lights, American Horror Story, and many more.

The 9-1-1 star opened up about her relationship in March, telling Parade that Windsor was “the one”.
”What I was really looking for was a partnership where there’s constant growth, on both sides, and a sort of deepening of each other,” she said of the TV producer, who has worked on shows such as This is Us, The Real O’Neals, and Not Dead Yet.
“I found somebody who I can walk on a journey with that is going to be constantly ever-changing,” she explained.

The couple had been set up at a mutual friend’s birthday party in 2019, with the host doing the matchmaking.
“So I’m talking to my friend, and he looks past me and he sees David across the room and he is like, ‘There’s someone here you have to meet,'” she recalled on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy in 2023.
“And it was like, I’ll never forget that moment because I turned around and I looked at who he was pointing at and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I wanna meet him.'”
Though they ultimately didn’t meet that night, Windsor had emailed her the next day in what Britton called a “very bold” move.
She also shared that, like herself, Windsor was married previously and had children.
Britton was previously married to John Britton from 1991 to 1995, and is mother to a son, Yoby, who she adopted from Ethiopia in 2011.
Her son was only nine months when the star adopted him after a three-year-long adoption process.
Britton told People at the time about the moment she first held Yoby in her arms.
“It was such a wonderful moment of completion,” she said, “I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears. I was just grinning from ear to ear.”
She later told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live about why she decided to adopt him.

In 2021, the actress shared that her parents had passed away and she felt a need for family.
“I wasn’t in a relationship that felt like it was going to be a marriage relationship and so I was like, ‘What am I waiting for? I know I want to adopt, I can do this!'” she said.
“But that was a little delusional, cause it turns out it’s a really hard thing to do.
“I had no idea what I was even getting into … But I would only encourage anybody to do it. You can do it!”
