Reality TV star Dorit Kemsley is ready to tell her story, on her own terms.

At 49, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills standout is preparing to open up like never before in her upcoming memoir, Unburdened: Moving On, Letting Go & Putting It All on the Table. Set against the backdrop of her ongoing divorce from husband Paul “PK” Kemsley, Dorit promises raw honesty and reflection in the highly anticipated book.
“For years, people have seen glimpses of my life, but this book is the full story,” Kemsley revealed in a press statement, according to People. “The beauty, the heartbreak, the fear, the fight and the strength it took to become the woman I am today.”
With Unburdened, fans can expect more than just surface-level glamour. Dorit plans to dive into both the dazzling and deeply vulnerable chapters of her life—including the emotional toll of public scrutiny, personal reinvention, and navigating life’s shifting seasons.
“I am writing this book not just to look back, but to move forward — with determination, grace and honesty,” she said.
Kemsley first captured viewers’ attention on Season 7 of RHOBH, and has remained a fan favorite thanks to her mix of high fashion, elegance, and openness during personal challenges. The press release notes that over the years, she’s gained admiration for her “strength, vulnerability and elegance under pressure.”

That pressure has certainly intensified recently. After months of speculation about their relationship, Dorit and PK confirmed their separation in May 2024. The couple, who share two children—Jagger, 11, and Phoenix, 9—issued a heartfelt joint statement:
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.”
They added that they’ve chosen to “maintain a harmonious environment” for their family and “made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart.”
Dorit officially filed for divorce in April, though proceedings are still ongoing.
While fans have watched her navigate life’s complexities onscreen, Unburdened promises to offer something far more intimate: the unfiltered truth behind the headlines.
