Jennifer Tilly Opens Up About Dorit Kemsley Not Following Her on Social Media and Their So-Called Feud – All About The Real Housewives

Jennifer Tilly recently addressed rumors of a brewing feud with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley during her appearance on the February 25 episode of Watch What Happens Live. The tension began after reports surfaced that Dorit was the only cast member not following Jennifer on social media, combined with the drama surrounding Dorit’s refusal to wear a caftan to Jennifer’s Caftan & Caviar party. But Jennifer, 66, was quick to clear the air and share her thoughts on the situation.

“I heard that theory [about Dorit and I] and I really try not to get on Twitter that much,” Jennifer shared with host Andy Cohen. “Dorit’s going through a really hard time, and she wasn’t even posting on Instagram… I think it just didn’t occur to her to follow the new ‘friend of.’” Despite the lack of a social media follow, Jennifer insisted that she “really [likes] Dorit,” noting that their relationship was free of any drama. “I just think she’s very clever, and of course, she’s incredibly fashionable, which is a good reason to like anybody, and we don’t have any beef at all,” she added.

However, when it came to Dorit’s infamous refusal to wear a caftan to the party, Jennifer couldn’t resist throwing a little shade. The RHOBH star previously commented in her confessional, saying, “You know what? I don’t look good in caftans, so I’d rather wear Dior.” Jennifer couldn’t help but point out Dorit’s potential misstep, claiming, “She said she read ‘caviar,’ but she didn’t read ‘caftans.’ But if you see the invitation, it says, ‘caviar and caftans,’ so her reading comprehension level leaves a little to be desired.”

While Dorit’s fashion faux pas stirred the pot, it was Sutton Stracke’s controversial comment about Dorit’s wealth that became the talk of the town. During the latest RHOBH episode, Sutton lashed out at Dorit, suggesting that her “wallet” was much larger than her castmate’s. Despite the uncomfortable moment, Jennifer defended her longtime friend. “People really like Sutton. Sutton can say there’s no Santa Claus, and they [would be] like, ‘We love her.’ It doesn’t matter what she does,” Jennifer remarked, before Andy Cohen playfully teased, “Well, let’s continue watching the season and see if that holds. People are fickle.”

Jennifer also expressed that she didn’t believe Sutton saw herself as superior to Dorit due to financial differences. “I do not [think that]. In fact, when she said it there was a stricken look on her face, which might have been edited out because they wanted her to look like the bad guy,” Jennifer explained. “It was a terrible thing to say, and she admitted it, and she was actually thinking of giving Dorit her purse … to make up for it.”

Even after the drama surrounding Sutton’s comment, Jennifer shared that in the heat of the moment, Sutton likely regretted her words. “In the moment, I think she regretted it,” Jennifer clarified, giving fans a glimpse of her perspective on the behind-the-scenes dynamics.
