New Music Friday has never felt better, with fresh vibes from Atlanta to Detroit.

Jermaine Dupri has made his glorious return with his album “Magic City.” The project features appearances from ATL vets such as Travis Porter, Bow Wow, CeeLo Green, Jagged Edge, Lil Jon, YFN Lucci, and even the late Rich Homie Quan. The album follows the release of his docuseries “Magic City: An American Fantasy,” which premiered on August 15th and explores the legacy of the iconic strip club. This project is just the latest piece of nostalgia coming out of the city, arriving weeks after Metro Boomin introduced the world to his mid-2000s masterpiece, “A Futuristic Summa.”

Fresh off his collab with Bryson Tiller, Luh Tyler returns with his single “Young Player.” The record features Larry June and offers a grown-man vibe, which speaks to Tyler’s growth. In “Young Player,” the Florida star digs deep into his “player” vibes, rapping about his rapport with the ladies and ability to finesse.

Detroit icons Peezy and Babyface Ray team up once again for the smooth street anthem “Let’s Talk About It.” Produced by 808Jayy, this latest collab is the perfect way to float into the weekend.
