Kim Kardashian reveals brain aneurysm diagnosis and blames Kanye West divorce stress
Kim Kardashian revealed she was diagnosed with “a little aneurysm” on her brain recently.
The health scare was discussed with her famous siblings during in the season 7 premiere of The Kardashians and showed the reality TV star undergoing an MRI.
Doctors told the SKIMS founder the aneurysm was likely caused by “just stress”, something the mother-of-four attributed to her divorce from rapper Kanye West.
According to Brain Foundation Australia, a brain aneurysm, or cerebral aneurysm as they are also known, “is a bulge on the wall of an artery … which could potentially rupture”.
They are “quite common and most aneurysms do not cause any symptoms or problems”, the foundation adds, although in some cases they can rupture and “lead to bleeding in the brain – a type of stroke called a subarachnoid haemorrhage”.
The 45-year-old was seen in tears in the first episode of the new series, as she spoke about her divorce.
“I’m happy it’s over,” she said.

“My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”
The aneurysm wasn’t the only other health concern Kardashian’s had in light of her stressful divorce from the father of her children – North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six.
“I haven’t had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back,” she said.
Referring to her kids, she said it added to her stress levels.
“I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect.
“They’re gonna know things, they’re gonna grow up, they’re gonna see.
“So my job as a mum is to just make sure that — at a time when that behaviour is happening — is just to make sure that they’re protected.”

Kardashian called time on her eight-year relationship and six-year marriage to West, she said, in light of the rapper’s increasingly erratic behaviour after going off his medication for bipolar.
The couple who wed in 2014 split in February 2021, with their divorce finalised in November 2022.
