Ohio Woman Wanted After Scrotum Slashing Attack on Boyfriend

Police in Ohio are searching for a woman accused of committing a violent and disturbing act during a home invasion that left her boyfriend seriously injured.

According to Toledo police, 45-year-old Jeanita Hopings allegedly kicked in the front door of her boyfriend’s home and attacked him with a sharp object, cutting his scrotum open. Authorities say the wound was so severe that one of his testicles was fully exposed, requiring emergency medical treatment.

Investigators confirmed that an arrest warrant has been issued for Hopings, who now faces charges of felonious assault resulting in serious harm and aggravated burglary. A mugshot from a previous arrest has been circulating online, but police say Hopings remains at large as the search continues.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Toledo police immediately.

The victim’s identity and current condition remain unknown. It’s also unclear why Hopings attacked her boyfriend in such a violent way.
