Teddi Mellencamp’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, recently shared an update on her health following her emergency surgery for multiple brain tumors. On February 13, Arroyave posted on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the support Mellencamp has received and sharing her current condition. “So many people asking for updates,” he wrote. “All I will say right now is surgery went well. That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She’s finally getting some much-needed rest. I know she is grateful for the outpouring of love.”

Teddi Mellencamp herself had previously shared the difficult news with her fans, revealing on February 12 that after experiencing crippling headaches, a CT scan and MRI revealed multiple tumors in her brain. “After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months,” she explained on Instagram. “Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today — The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.”
Despite the severity of her condition, Mellencamp expressed her gratitude for the support she has received: “I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.”

In a heartwarming moment, Arroyave shared a photo of their son Cruz, 10, holding a handmade heart-shaped card that said “Feel better.” Arroyave captioned the photo, “Cruz’s class made this for @teddimellencamp ??.”

Teddi Mellencamp’s close friend and co-host, Tamra Judge, also showed support by announcing Mellencamp would be taking a break from their podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod,” due to her health concerns. Judge said on the February 12 episode, “I’ll allow Teddi to tell her story when she’s back… you all know how much she loves this podcast and wants nothing more than for us to continue on recording while she focuses on her health.”
We wish Teddi a speedy and full recovery during this challenging time.
