Ray first captured national attention on MTV’s “Catfish: Trolls” in 2018. From there, his witty comebacks made him a standout in the digital world. He was frequently featured on blogs, with his commentary videos often going viral. He famously coined the term “purr,” a spin on “period.”

It’s unknown when Ray passed away and no cause of death has been made public.
