Actress Camila Mendes engaged to internet personality turned filmmaker Rudy Mancuso after three year relationship
Congratulations are in order for actress Camila Mendes, who is now engaged to internet personality turned filmmaker Rudy Mancuso after a three-year relationship.
The news was shared to multiple outlets, including People, which shared a statement from the 31-year-old actress’ representation.
They shared that the Riverdale star thought she was attending a birthday party for producing partner Rachel Matthews, but it was in fact her own surprise engagement party.
“Rudy proposed to her in front of their family and friends,” the source said.
They continued celebrating until 11pm, when they decided to attend actor Glen Powell’s tracksuit and tequila-themed birthday party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
The couple was spotted walking in, the actress looking deliriously happy as she paired her new massive engagement ring with a blue cropped tracksuit vest and matching pants.

Mancuso wore a beige sweater over a white shirt and black pants, planting a kiss on his now-fiancée’s cheek.
The couple first met in 2022 on the set of Mancuso’s directorial film, Música, with the pair taking part in a screen test.
“We have it all recorded so you can see that there’s this exciting energy and this giddiness,” Mendes told People.

“It’s safe to say there was chemistry from the moment we met, and it certainly was visible onscreen,” Mancuso said.
Mendes agreed, saying that they “just understood things about each other that I think it’s hard for other people to understand.
“It worked out because we were getting to know each other off-set, and we got to play out that dynamic in real-time, in front of the camera, as we got to know each other as our characters.”
Mendes was previously involved with an Ian Wallace from 2013 to 2017, before dating her Riverdale costar Charles Melton from 2018 to 2021.
Mancuso was in a six-year relationship with actress Maia Mitchell before they split in 2022.
