Aussie and former Vogue editor Margaret Zhang and rapper Miguel reveal relationship and one-year-old baby Angel on his birthday
With a single Instagram post, they revealed all.
Today, rapper Miguel celebrated his son Angel’s first birthday – suprising fans who didn’t know he was a father.
He took to Instagram sharing a video himself holding the bub, Angel, (with his face blurred out), as a new song dedicated to his baby played in the background.

“Our baby turned 1 today !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELITO !!! We love you so much ! So proud and honored that you chose us to be your parents. Papá wrote you a song – hope it always reminds you of how loved you are 🖤🖤🖤” he wrote in the caption.
The video was revealed to be directed by Margaret Zhang, an Australian and former editor of Vogue China. The 32-year-old was tagged in the rapper’s post, indicating that she is the mother of the child.
A look at her own profile confirms that she is, with her own tribute to Angel.

“A year and a day of being your mummy – my best work and highest honour,” she wrote in her Instagram post, sharing a behind-the-scenes snap from the video featuring her holding Angel while standing behind the camera.
There were also photos from the hospital when Angel was born, balloons spelling out “Happy Birthday Angel”, a cake with the same message, the website where Angel’s song was shared, pictures of the family on holiday, and even some bump shots from her pregnancy.
Miguel commented on the post, writing, “Best Mommy 🖤😌”

Fans were shocked by the news, with one writing in the comment section, “girl im confused but ily congrats”.
“The pop culture mash up we didnt know we needed,” another said.
“i feel i missed a few seasons,” another joked.

But it seemed like the couple’s celebrity friends were in on the secret, with actress Zoey Deutch penning, “I love you so much Angel ❤️”
TikTok creator Grace Amaku wrote, “Sweet baby surrounded by peace.”
MAFS star Domenica Calarco, who recently became a mother herself, wrote, “The best job in the whole world ❤️”

New celebrity couples: Stars go public with their romance
The couple have kept their relationship private, with Zhang being snapped with her baby bump last year, though she didn’t reveal anything about her partner.
The couple were photographed at an event in California in March this year, and are believed to have been together since 2023.
Zhang made her name as the youngest editor of a Vogue publication when she took the helm of the Chinese edition at just 27 in 2021. She stepped away from the position in February 2024.

Before this, she was known in the Australian and Asian fashion scene, with the Sydney-raised influencer and model working with brands like L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon, Marie Claire, Buro24/7 and Elle, doing photography, styling, and creative direction for them.
Miguel on the other hand is a rapper known for his hits Sure Thing and Adorn. He was previously married to model Nazanin Mandi from 2018 to 2021, after a 13-year-relationship.
