Brad Pitt’s ‘diabolical’ act saw entire film crew flee in disgust
We’ve all got a cringeworthy story we’d rather forget – even Brad Pitt, it seems.
The superstar, 61, made a recent confession that seems at odds with his sleek image, with an act that caused his entire film crew to flee from set.
The F1 star shared a story with the Kelce brothers on their New Heights podcast, recalling a memory from one of his first independent films in the early days of his career.

“I haven’t thought about this for years,” he said before sharing, “We’re shooting in this little tiny café. It’s full of the crew. So there’s about 60 people in there. It’s hot. You can’t breathe. And my character hadn’t eaten for days.”
The scene called for the character to eat a big plate of beans and bacon, and Pitt being an eager young actor wanted to be as “method” as possible.

He “powered down” plate after plate, eating four plates of beans in four takes before, “Something hit me.”
“There was nothing I could do. I was stuck in this chair and nature took its course and and then… there was nothing,” he shared. “I went, ‘Oh, great. I got away with that one.”
But his relief was short-lived, because suddenly “the most diabolical something-something descended on the crew in the whole room, and they [fled] the café.”

As the Kelce brothers erupted in laughter, Pitt concluded sheepishly, “ever since then, I’ve paced myself.”
It turns out the Mr and Mrs Smith star has always been open about his flatulence, with his co-star Kirsten Dunst talking about his behaviour on the set of the 1994 film Interview With the Vampire.
Then 11-years-old, Dunst was asked by EW about how she handled the film’s dark subject matter, to which she simply replied, “The darkness was always balanced out by fart jokes by Brad.”

He also spoke highly about the bodily function during his days married to Jennifer Aniston.
In an interview with Esquire he said that married life is “fantastic. I love it. Being married means I can fart and eat ice cream in bed. Jen is brilliant.”
His marriage to Aniston lasted from 2000-2005, after which he began dating Angelina Jolie, whom he was married to from 2014-2016, officially divorcing in 2019.
He has been dating jewellery designer Ines de Ramon since 2022.
