Chipotle Declares “Extra Sunday” with Free Guac, Queso & 50K Free Meals the Day After Super Bowl

Chipotle is making sure football fans don’t miss out after the biggest game of the year by introducing a brand-new holiday: “Extra Sunday.” Designed to acknowledge the millions of Americans who take the Monday after football’s championship game off, Chipotle is celebrating with free food and giveaways.

On Monday, February 10, Chipotle Rewards members can enjoy both free Guac and free Queso Blanco with the purchase of any entrée by using the promo code “EXTRA25” on the Chipotle app or website. This marks the first time the brand is offering both toppings for free in a single promotion.

But the giveaways don’t stop there—Chipotle is also spicing up game day itself with a major in-game activation. The restaurant chain will give away up to 50,000 free entrées during the 2025 professional football championship game. Every time something “extra” happens on the field—like a successful fourth-down conversion, extra point, or two-point conversion—Chipotle will drop a text-to-claim code on Twitter (@ChipotleTweets) and Instagram (@Chipotle). The first fans to text the code to 888-222 will receive a free entrée code.

“Football’s most-watched game is the perfect stage for over-the-top moments, and we’re here to make it even more extra with free Chipotle,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer.

Chipotle has long fueled both athletes and fans through its Real Food for Real Athletes program, and Extra Sunday is the latest way the brand is giving back to sports lovers.

Fans looking to score free Chipotle should be ready to text fast during the big game and redeem their free Guac and Queso the next day. With 16.1 million U.S. employees expected to skip work after the game, Chipotle is making sure they’re well-fed and celebrating.
