Garcelle Beauvais is bidding farewell to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after an unforgettable five seasons. The 58-year-old actress made the surprising announcement on Tuesday, March 25, via a heartfelt video shared on her Instagram.

“I have some news: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Beauvais stated in the video. “It’s been a wild ride, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened — but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
In her message, Beauvais explained the personal and professional reasons behind her decision to leave the hit reality series. She emphasized her desire to focus on her family, particularly her sons, as well as new career opportunities.
“One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys,” she shared. “Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that. And Jade is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too. And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in — I can’t tell you anything now but you’ll know soon.”
Before concluding the video, Garcelle expressed her gratitude to everyone who has been a part of the RHOBH journey, from the producers and crew to the show’s stars. She extended special thanks to Andy Cohen, Bravo, NBC Universal, and Evolution and 32 Flavors, the production companies behind the series.

“I want to thank everyone behind Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, including executive producer Andy Cohen, Bravo, NBC Universal, and the show’s production companies, Evolution and 32 Flavors,” she said. “The producers, the crew, and of course, the ladies.”
Garcelle also teased the possibility of returning to the series in the future, hinting that her exit might not be permanent. “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open, so you never know, I might pop back in sometime,” she joked.
To her loyal fans, Beauvais expressed her heartfelt appreciation for their support throughout her time on the show. “To the fans, I want to say thank you so much. You guys have cheered me on, supported me, and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf,” she said. “It means a lot and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me.”
Concluding her emotional farewell, Beauvais added, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So see you later.”
The video was captioned with a message that marks the beginning of a new chapter: “Cheers to the next chapter.”
Following Garcelle’s announcement, Bravo’s Andy Cohen praised her incredible run on the show, writing, “an incredible run from an incredible human #BRAVO.” Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice also reacted to the news, saying, “congratulations! So happy for you.”
