Happy Gilmore 2 has been widely praised on social media as many see it as a solid return to the screen for the beloved character.
But aside from the excitement of seeing just what Happy Gilmore’s life looks like 30 years after he shot to fame as an unexpected golf pro, there’s another aspect of the film fans simply can’t stop talking about.
There is an insane number of celebrity cameos in this film.
So, we’ve collected all the cameos we picked up on and put them in a neat and tidy list so you know exactly who to look for when you watch the film.
You’ll see we’ve separated the list into two sections, “cameos” and “cast”, and just know that list is solely based of our own general vibe of how much screen time each star was given.
Now, strap yourselves in and be prepared to have your mind blown when you see just how many stars Sandler managed to wrangle for the film.
Celebrity cameos in Happy Gilmore 2
Cameron Boyce
It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, but Sandler of course had to include his late co-star Cameron Boyce.
For a daily dose of 9honey, subscribe to our newsletter here.
Boyce starred as Sandler’s son in the 2010 film Grown Ups and the 2013 sequel, and the pair became incredibly close working together over the years, with Sandler seeing Boyce somewhat as his own son.
The young star died in 2019 at 20 years old, with Sandler paying tribute to him in the 2020 film Hubie Halloween, which Boyce was set to star in.
Now, the comedian has once again paid tribute to his on-screen son with a brief moment as characters are seen watching Boyce in the TV show Jessie.
Eminem
Marshall Mathers, more commonly known as Eminem, looked almost unrecognisable in the film.
He appeared as Donald, a character hired to heckle Happy in a nostalgic throwback to the late Joe Flaherty, who played the original heckler, Donald, in the first film.
Mathers’ character was introduced as Donald’s son, Donald Jr..
Travis Kelce
Potentially the most highly-anticipated cameo in the film was that of NFL star Travis Kelce.
The athlete took on the role of cast member Bad Bunny’s boss, who brutally fires him from his role.
Kelce makes a second cameo in a hilarious scene later in the film.
Guy Fieri
Food star Guy Fieri only has a small role as the Tournament Starter, but he is instantly recognisable with those frosted tips.
Marcello Hernandez
Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernandez makes a hilarious appearance as Esteban, the cousin of Bad Bunny’s character.

Post Malone
Toward the end of the film, rapper Post Malone appeared on screen as a fictional celebrity commentator named DJ Omar Gosh.
Steve Buscemi
Steve Buscemi makes regular cameos in Sandler’s films – he’s one of many close friends to do so.
This time, he appeared as Happy’s nameless neighbour.
Alix Earle
This was one of the more unexpected cameos in the film.
The idea that Alix Earle plays herself in Happy Gilmore 2 sounds crazy at first, but as soon as you watch the film, it actually makes perfect sense.
Sean Evans
Sean Evans, the host of YouTube series Hot Ones, also appears as himself.

Martin Herlihy, Margaret Qualley and Eric Andre
These three have to be mentioned together.
Margaret Qualley showed she has some real talent for comedy with her appearance in the film.
She appeared alongside Martin Herlihy and Eric Andre as a group of friends who find themselves on the golf course with Happy toward the start of the film.
Kevin Nealon
Kevin Nealon appeared to reprise his role of Gary Potter.
Jon Lovitz
Jon Lovitz runs into Happy at the driving range, and he’s not too happy about it.
Rob Schneider
Another of Sandler’s friends who often appears in his work.
There’s not too much to say on his role, so we’ll let the image speak for itself.
Oliver Hudson
We don’t want to spoil anything, but it will take you a minute to recognise Oliver Hudson when he appears on screen.
Kid Cudi
Musical artist Kid Cudi appears to arrest a character we will leave unnamed to avoid any spoilers.
Boban Marjanovic
NBA star Boban Marjanovic appears as Drago Larson, the son of the iconic character Larson from the original film.
Judy Sandler
Adam Sandler’s mum, Judy Sandler, hilariously takes on the role of Drago Larson’s mum.

Lavell Crawford
Breaking Bad star Lavell Crawford paid homage to the late Carl Weathers.
Weathers starred in the original film as Happy’s mentor, Chubbs Peterson, and in the sequel Crawford plays his son.
The Pro Golfers
There is an absolute slew of pro golfers who make an appearance in the film – so many, we can’t even list them all.
Some of the more notable roles though went to Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Bubba Watson, Justin Thomas and Tony Finau.
Perhaps the most iconic of the pro golfers, though, was Will Zalatoris, who appeared as a grown-up version of the caddy Happy chokes out in the original film.

Christopher McDonald
Christopher McDonald returns as the original villain, Shooter McGavin, and dare we say he managed to outdo his original performance!
Bad Bunny
Potentially the most talked-about character of the whole film.
Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny showed he’s not just a one-trick pony as he stood out among the stacked cast as Happy’s caddy, Oscar.
Ben Stiller
Ben Stiller appeared in the original film in a small role as the evil nursing home worker before anyone even knew his name.
Now that he’s a star in his own right, he returned for the sequel, this time even more menacing than the last.
