A man drove his car into a group of protesters outside a Tesla dealership in Palm Beach County, Florida, though no one was injured, authorities reported.

The protesters were demonstrating against Elon Musk and Donald Trump, focusing on Musk’s ties to Trump’s administration, particularly in cutting federal funding and jobs.
The protest was part of a broader movement against businesses linked to Musk’s Tesla. Across the U.S. and internationally, incidents involving Tesla-related properties have been reported, including attacks on Cybertrucks in Seattle and gunshots fired at a Tesla dealership in Oregon.
During the Palm Beach protest on Saturday, Andrew Dutil slowly drove his vehicle onto the sidewalk where protesters had gathered, causing them to scramble to avoid being struck.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident, and Dutil was arrested on an assault charge. As of the report, no attorney had been listed to represent Dutil.
The Palm Beach area is also home to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, which the president has called the “Center of the Universe.”
The protest was rooted in the broader discontent surrounding Trump and Musk’s collaboration in government restructuring efforts aimed at reducing federal waste, fraud, and abuse.
Some people across social media have claimed Dutil is a Tesla employee, though that has not been verified.
