P.J. WASHINGTON AND WIFE ALISAH WELCOME THEIR SECOND CHILD TOGETHER
Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington had a good reason for missing Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers—he and his wife, Alisah Chanel, welcomed their newborn son, Paxton Jayce.
The proud parents shared the news yesterday on Instagram, expressing their gratitude for their newborn.
“The start of 2025 feeling so blessed. Thank You God. PJW,” they captioned a serious of photos from the hospital.
The new arrival joins the couple’s first son, Preston Julian Washington, who celebrated his second birthday in December.
For his son’s special day, P.J. took to social media to reflect on how much his son has changed his life for the better.
“Happy birthday Preston, the coolest two year old I know. You’ve have grown so much and I’m so lucky to be your Dad. You have made me better in so many ways and I am grateful for you. I love you and can’t wait to continue to watch you grow,” PJ wrote on instagram at the time.
Alisah also shared a touching message for her son, saying, “My sweet, smart, loving boy, you make me so proud on a daily & I can’t wait to see the great things you bring into this world! Mommy loves you so much, pumpkin.”
In addition to their two children, Alisah is also a devoted mom to her son, Aiden Licastro, from a previous relationship. P.J. shares another son, Paul Jermaine Washington III, born in 2021, with influencer Brittany Renner.
While co-parenting can come with challenges, P.J. and Brittany have made it a priority to work together in raising their son.
In a past interview, Renner addressed ongoing speculation about how much child support she receives from the basketball star.
She shared that she receives $2,500 per month—not the rumored six-figure sum of $200,000.
“For whatever reason, that that number circulates, but I provide for my child,” Renner further clarified.
