Post Malone Stands In For Kurt Cobain And It’s Epic
The surviving members of Nirvana have used multiple singers over the years to fill the shoes of Kurt Cobain. However, I think they have finally found the best replacement. Post Malone performed with the band at the SNL 50 Concert and his performance was epic!
Post Malone Performs Smells Like Teen Spirit With Nirvana
Apparently, this isn’t the first time Post Malone has belted out a Nirvana tune for fans. In a famous COVID-era livestream, Post and Travis Barker did a bunch of Nirvana covers. I believe, though, this is the first time he has performed alongside the remaining members of Nirvana.
Adam Sandler introduced the performance, referring to them as “Post Nirvana.” They then launched into Smells Like Teen Spirit which they haven’t played in 12 years. Not only did Post sound great but he shredded on the guitar. And Dave Grohl was all smiles through the entire performance.
Other highlights of the evening included the return of Lauryn Hill, Miley Cyrus, Eddie Vedder, The Backstreet Boys, Robyn, Cher and more.
