Young Bleed Dies at 51 After Brain Aneurysm
The hip-hop world is mourning the sudden loss of Baton Rouge rap legend Young Bleed, who died at 51 after suffering a brain aneurysm shortly after performing at a major industry event in Las Vegas.
His oldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton, confirmed the rapper’s passing on November 1 in an Instagram Reel. “Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Young bleed!!! Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u,” he wrote.
In the video tribute, Clifton addressed misinformation, including his father’s age, and gave thanks to the doctors who treated him. He said Young Bleed had no serious health conditions but did battle high blood pressure and was taking medication.
Clifton explained that after performing at the Cash Money and No Limit Verzuz during ComplexCon, his father attended an afterparty where things took a turn. He collapsed due to internal bleeding caused by a brain aneurysm. He spent a week in the ICU on life support before passing.
“I’m glad he went out in style!!!! One time fa the one time,” Clifton added.

Young Bleed, born Glenn Clifton Jr., first made waves with the 1997 hit “How Ya Do Dat,” later dropping the gold-certified album “My Balls & My Word” under Priority Records. He released nine studio albums throughout his career.
